The gameplay mechanics are straightforward. Players must determine where they believe the ball will be hit, choosing from nine designated positions on the field, along with options for walk, strikeout, or hit by pitch.
- If you anticipate the batter will successfully reach base, you can select "Hit."
- For expectations of scoring a run or a home run, options include "Score Run" or "Home Run."
Those who create the game assume the role of umpire by default, responsible for concluding the guessing phase before the first pitch and recording the outcome of each play. The outcome should reflect which fielder gains control of the ball following the hit, rather than simply who touches it first.
